GT Stewart represented S, a young man who was charged with an extremely serious s.18 stabbing in the centre of Wakefield Town. If convicted, S would be facing a lengthy custodial sentence.
He was represented by Patricia Walker from our Leeds office at the police station and she supported him throughout his case which was listed for trial at Leeds Crown Court. Two days before the trial, we challenged the evidence in the case and the CPS decided to drop all charges against him.
