Our client was detained in a Medium Secure Hospital for a number of years and successfully completed his treatment pathway. The client had responded well to medication and proved to show good insight into the mental disorder. Over the course of treatment in a psychiatric setting, the client had undertaken all psychological therapies and was successfully tested on leave in the community. The transition from hospital to the community was robust and is now discharged into the community on conditions.
