TJF was originally charged with attempted murder, following successful representations, he was subsequently tried for wounding with intent in a trial that lasted over 4 weeks. The case involved 5 defendants who allegedly sought retribution for an attack on one of their younger gang members. The revenge attack involved the use of large knives and machetes on the rival gang members in a brutal gangland stabbing.
TJF was unanimously acquitted by a jury after 2 days of deliberating. He was represented at trial by two of our in house specialist Advocates’ Team, Ronnie Manek and Jodie Mole instructed by Mel Stooks head of our specialist Youth Crime Team. Kathy Gorey represented TJF at the police station giving outstanding advice that protected our client’s position from the very start.
