GT Stewart today secured a suspended prison sentence for a client following a guilty plea to two counts of possessing false identity documents.
AB appeared at Canterbury Crown Court and was charged with being in possession of two false Israeli identification documents, namely a passport and driving licence, having entered the UK via Dover.
Following lengthy submissions submitted on his behalf, AB was sentenced to a suspended prison sentence. The relevant sentencing guidelines and authorities dictate that sentences for like offences range from 6-12 months immediate custody.
AB was represented at court by Ronnie Manek and Elena Papamichael. His case was litigated by Kevin Williams at our City of London office.
