MK, represented by our in-house Solicitor-Advocate Elena Papamichael, was spared jail time at Maidstone Crown Court, having pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. MK was seen by police officers supplying a drug user with crack cocaine. He was found in possession of £1000, a large number of wraps of drugs and the county line drug phone. Elena was first able to persuade the Crown to drop additional charges of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and failing to provide a mobile phone PIN. Elena then successfully argued that her client should not be sent to prison and he received a 2 year suspended sentence.
