
The LCCSA is hosting an essential training session on Thursday 19th June - Challenges from the Magistrates’ Courts: Case Stated, Judicial Review, Appeals to the Crown Court, Applications to the CCRC, and Funding Such Challenges.
The session will be presented by Greg Stewart, Partner and Senior Solicitor at GT Stewart and Philip Rule KC from No5 Chambers, offering expert insight into the routes available when contesting decisions from the Magistrates’ Courts, including timely guidance on funding issues and a key discussion on proposed reforms by the Law Commission. This training session is essential for Solicitors navigating appellate routes and funding mechanisms.
