DC, unanimously acquitted of possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of class B drugs with intent to supply. Following the execution of a firearms warrant at DC’s home, a loaded firearm was found inside a DVD player along with a large quantity of cannabis found in DC’s bedroom. DC denied any knowledge that a loaded firearm was inside the DVD player in question and stated that he was forced at gun point to hold the DVD player and bags containing cannabis by his co-defendant and was therefore acting under duress.
