Lily joined GT Stewart in July 2024 after completing her undergraduate degree in Law with Criminology. She is eager to grow within the firm and is currently pursuing her SQE and Law Master’s alongside her work to qualify as a solicitor. Lily has a passion for Criminal Law as she finds fulfillment in supporting individuals during vulnerable and challenging situations. She is also working towards obtaining her Police Station Accreditation and looks forward to advancing her career with GT Stewart.

Notable Cases

Since joining GT Stewart, Lily has played a key role in assisting with complex legal proceedings. She has supported Solicitors and Counsel in highly sensitive cases, involving allegations of child rape, where she provided thorough assistance throughout the process.

Lily was also involved in a case where the defendant was charged with concern in the supply of Class A drugs. Her contributions helped secure one of the most favourable outcomes, with the defendant receiving the second-lowest sentence among all co-defendants.

Lily is experienced in meticulously pulling together the evidence in cases and liaising with clients to assist in the drafting of detailed defence statements in response. She prides herself on being friendly and approachable, supporting clients throughout a process that can be both worrying and, often, difficult to understand.
