Mihad specialises in Public Law proceedings, including cases involving Non-Accidental Injury and Neglect. During his training, Mihad has gained experience handling a wide range of family law matters. He also works on cases related to the revocation of Adoption Orders, Discharge of Care Orders, and contact arrangements in care proceedings.

Additionally, Mihad handles private law cases, such as disputes between parents and matters involving domestic abuse.

Notable Cases:

Mihad was instructed just 90 minutes before a removal hearing. He presented a robust plan and proposed an agreement to both the Court and the parties involved, which was accepted by all. As a result, the hearing was adjourned, and the Local Authority decided not to pursue the removal. The matter went before a Circuit Judge who commended Mihad for his approach and provided the following feedback to his supervisors:

“I wish to commend him for his representation of the mother in care proceedings at a hearing. This was a complex case and would no doubt have been challenging, especially in circumstances where Mr. Hussain could only have been instructed at short notice as I had adjourned the case from the previous day. Mr Hussain’s conduct of the case was impressive. In the short time afforded to him, he managed to establish a rapport with his client and was able to advance and to articulate a reasonable and entirely appropriate position, which served his client’s interests. His manner was professional and courteous, yet he protected his client’s legal position whilst being of enormous assistance to me.”

Notable Experience or Interests outside of Law:

Mihad is a passionate Manchester United fan and regularly attends both home and away games. He is also an avid traveller, with Bali being his favorite holiday destination.
