Mr M recently stood trial at Northampton Crown Court charged with GBH with intent. He was alleged to have wounded the complainant with a machete and iron bar inside his own home address in July 2016.

Mr M always maintained his innocence stating that he defended himself after returning home to find it had been burgled by the complainant, who then confronted him with the knife and iron bar.

After a trial lasting six days, the jury unanimously found Mr M not guilty of GBH.
