Joy Gribbin has been a solicitor in the housing team since qualifying in November 2021. Prior to this she had been a Trainee Solicitor and Paralegal at GT Stewart since September 2017. Joy obtained a Linguistics BA degree at University College London, followed by the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University and then completed the Legal Practical Course at London Metropolitan University.
In her time at GT Stewart, Joy has worked on a wide range of cases including: defending possession proceedings, acting for clients in injunction proceedings, challenging negative homelessness decisions, representing clients in disrepair cases and bringing claims for Judicial Review. Joy is particularly interested in cases with allegations of anti-social behaviour. She has successfully represented vulnerable clients in defending their rights and enabled them to retain their homes.
