Simeon practices in all areas of housing law, including defending possession proceedings (rent arrears, succession and allegations of anti social behaviour), homelessness including reviews, appeals and Judicial Review proceedings. Simeon also specialises in community care cases where there is an overlap with housing such as homeless families where the local authority’s duty has ceased and accommodation is being provided by social services. Simeon has recently been instructed by the Official Solicitor to act in possession proceedings brought on the basis of rent arrears against a tenant lacking capacity. Simeon is known for his holistic and calm approach, and his ability to deal with clients in a thoughtful and sensitive manner in what can be very difficult and stressful time.

Post Graduate Studies at the College of Law
Before joining GT Stewart, Simeon volunteered at Southwark and South West London Law Centres, then in the housing department at a busy inner city legal aid law firm.
