Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS)

William Bache represented Carla Andrews in a recent and significant case about Shaken Baby Syndrome. Her baby had “a complex, inherited medical ailment that mimics the symptoms of what is called Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS)”. William said that the case highlighted the fact that if a baby shows symptoms which indicate SBS, then medical enquiries often end there, even though other conditions can appear similar. Further investigations should be made.

Carla’s case was featured in the Daily Mail on 5 May 2017, and can be found at the link below.
